Its been so long I have been hearing about RJ 14 from my friends and family. This restaurant have become extremely popular among both youth and families. The food theme for this place is that they are serving Dhaba style delicious food with great ambiance and of course much more hygiene. I must say I was not disappointed. Both food and ambiance are worth every bit of appreciation.
Ambiance
RJ 14 is beautifully set and divided into 3 different places. One is inside area which is normal, nothing much to say about that. Rest two parts are outside. Out of them first one is set up with couches and comfortable chairs… more like a lounge. Second one is comprised of dhaba style chairs and benches. I liked both the outdoor siting and it was really comfortable. Decor was of white curtains and grey colored walls. Trees and plants inside gives it the refreshing dhaba feel. Entrance is also pretty nice with RJ 14 written like a big prop. You can click your pictures there.
Location
It is pretty easy to locate as it is situated on the main road. Valet parking available.
Service & Staff
Service is good and staff is also polite.

Menu is quiet elaborate and caters to majorly North Indian food lovers along with some south indian dishes too.
Food @ RJ 14
Food here at RJ 14 is delicious, i usually don’t eat north indian food outside. But i loved it here. It was nor too spicy neither bland. They serve food in copper plated utensils which gives the feel of dhabas and villages. We ordered palak patta chaat, golgappe, masala papad, lassi, achari paneer tikka, paneer lababdar, dal makhani, zeera rice, tandoori roti and garlic naan. We also had kulfi from a small counter inside the restaurant only.
Masala Papad
It was average. Nothing great. Did not enjoy it much. Masala could have been better.
Golgappe
These came with 5 types of water (Hing, zeera, pineapple, pudina and khatta meetha), Curd, tamarind chutney, sev and aloo masala. These were yum, i loved the hing ka pani and khatta meetha. Aloo masala and everything were nice. Although the water was very cold.
Palak patta chaat
Absolutely loved this one. Crispy fried spinach pakodas and served in chaat style with curd and chutneys. Yummylicios. Must Try.
Achari Paneer tikka
Served with green chutney and onion salad, this dish was a delight to the tastebuds. Perfectly cooked and spiced so well… it was just amazing.
Lassi
My friend tried this and he said it was good.
Paneer Lababdar
Very rich, spiced up and luscious gravy with paneer. It was simply mouth drooling. Loved it.
Daal makhani
It was well prepared and nice in taste.
Garlic naan
Nice, crisp, garlicky. It was good, but i have had better.
Tandoori roti
Nice, well cooked.
Zeera rice
Rice was just fine. Nothing special. Could have been much better.
Kulfi – Paan, sitaphal and kesar
All three flavors were nice, I loved sitaphal one. If you are a paan lover then you must try paan kulfi here.
Onion, lemon and green chili salad was served complimentary. I loved the food. I would definitely want to visit again and try more of their dishes. According to the ambiance and food quality it was value for money.
