We were exploring the malls for good food after shopping in Select City Walk. We were so exhausted and hungry so going by Zomato ratings we found Big Chill in DLF place. Craving for Italian food, this seems to be the perfect place.
Ambiance at Big Chill
The decor at BIG Chill is based on Hollywood theme, posters from movies, brick walls, red carpet, and simple furniture gives it a nice appeal. It was although very reddish but still not painful to eyes, it was soft.
Staff & Service
Staff was pretty courteous, took good care of our needs, service was also on time and good.
Menu
There are plenty of choices in the menu for Italian food lovers, shakes, ice-creams etc. Only thing lacking was starters.
Food
Food at this place is pretty good and tasty, although presentation wise it is little plain, but taste subsides everything, flavors are amazing, quantity was also apt, a must try for Italian food.
Banana Killer Shake
This shake was a combination of banana and vanilla, it was super tasty , perfectly balanced and cool. It was not too thick nor too thin, just the way I like. Must try try if you are a banana shake fan.
Tomato and Garlic Risotto
Well when the dish arrived at our table, judging by the looks I was a bit skeptical about the taste. Presentation was very normal, could have been much much better. Although when I took the first bite, it was so good, that garlicky flavor with tomato sauce and creaminess which is essential for risotto, perfectly cooked arborio, there was a burst of flavor in my mouth. I really loved it. YUM YUM YUM…. Must try… Next time I will try brown sauce or mushroom risotto.
Mango Pavlova Sundae
It was also good, with fresh tangy mango pieces, ice-cream, some white sugary treat in between (which I don’t recognize), super cold. Although this can be improved.
Overall the food was good. Although as we were only two people, we could not try more dishes but whatever we tried was really good. I would definitely love to go again. When the food is good, I would say paying more is not a problem. You will the full worth of your money. For two people we spent 1100/- INR .
